WA Pass Conditions App Reviews

Just what it says

I drive a flat-bed big truck, based out of Spokane, Washington. This app saved my tail in early April thru Snoqualmie Pass. Live images of the pass with new ones on a quick refresh. It is pretty basic and sometimes thats a good thing. Worth a few bucks in my opinion.

Exactly what I wanted!

Not a "pretty" app, but very easy to use - especially to check for updates as conditions rapidly change. Its all web based information, freely available, but the way this app presents the information makes it well worth the price. If you are a frequent or recreational traveller over any of these mountain passes, dont hesitate to get this application.

Needs work

The pass conditions window does not fit vertically for some passes, nor horizontally for others. Unable to scroll either way, so much of the report is cut off. WA Pass Reports is a much better app, plus it lists ALL of the WA passes.

Not ready for prime time yet. Wait until its fixed

Majority of text regarding pass conditions cannot be read because the window is not formatted to fit it. Judging from past review dates, problem has not been addressed. Wish you could try these first before you pay.

Glitches

Some of the pass info isnt even viewable. No bueno

Needs to be updated!

Do not spend money on this app until it is updated! There is a much better app called: WSDOT.

Cant see text

This app is good cause you can see weather and the cams, but text is off. The app that was suggested before- WSDOT doesnt cover pass info (that i could see anyway). I have to take my kid over the pass to see her dad all the time, and this app saves me! I still use, but hope theyll fix soon!

Not Good

This app is not worth the price. It doesnt give you anything you cant get from the WSDOT web site. Poorly formatted info makes it hard to read.

Stevens

Terrible. Dont download.

Pass conditions

Oh dear... I paid for this??? Their interface to WSDOT doesnt work so well and this apps graphics dont line up right so you cant read the pass condition warnings. Which is the entire point of the app! Yikes! A 3 year old must have programed this.

What a waste!

Downloaded this for my iPod touch on a day when I needed to head over the pass in bad weather. Couldnt read any of the posts---almost looked like it was designed as a dashboard widget straight off a webpage that was cropped badly. It also crashed incessantly. I want my money back! HATE this app!

Dont waste your time or dollar.

What a total waste! I may have only paid $ .99 but it is a rip off! Even if it had been free it still would have not been worth it. The only reason it even gets one star is because you cant submit a comment unless you at least give it one star.

Reformat!!

Terrible formatting. I cant even read the report. Fix this!!

Total ripoff

Cameras are from april, terrible formating (you are not able to read the ws dot page)

WA Pass Reports

This app was pretty good last year but this year it is not formatted well. The map of Washington is cut off about 40 miles above the Columbia river and absolutely useless. All the pages are not framed up so a lot of the text is not visible. This suggests to me that last years app hasnt been updated for apple updates.

Needs a lot of work

Does not have current data for pass info or pics ! The last shown update for snoqualmie was from April 2012! And the text is not all visible in the screen! Junk, waste of a dollar!

Straight garbage.

Should have listened to all of the one star reviews. Most of the time the pages just dont even load. When they do, the text doesnt fit the window. Save your dollar. Give someone an extra tip with it.

Dont bother!

Waste of money! I bought this app and it is completely unreadable. I deleted it and paid $2.99 for a year access to another pass report app in the App Store.

Piece of Crap!

I cant believe I paid money for this. It used to work but now the formatting causes the writing to be cut off and the map is hidden underneath the unmovable text box. Its absolutely worthless!

Dont Waste Your Money

I have an iPhone 5 and the app is not formatted to fit the window properly.
